What should I do if the fishing reel cannot find bluetooth when connecting to the phone

Note: You may not need to follow all the steps below. Trying just one of them might resolve your issue.

1. Restart Your Phone and the DBC-II Reel
A simple restart can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

2. Ensure Bluetooth is Enabled and Try Reconnecting
Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on, then double-click the fishing reel button. If the reel does not appear in the Bluetooth list, double-click the button again.

3. Check for Previous Connections
If the fishing reel was previously connected to another device, ensure it is disconnected. Some devices can only connect to one Bluetooth device at a time.

4. Check App Permissions
Ensure the WeChat app has the necessary permissions to access Bluetooth and location services.

For Android:

1)Open Settings > Apps > WeChat
2)Go to Permissions

3)Enable the following permissions:

Bluetooth (or "Nearby Devices")

Location (Some Android versions require this for Bluetooth scanning)

Storage (Used for device data storage)

Note: On some Android brands (e.g., Samsung, Xiaomi), the permission settings may be under different names such as "Nearby Devices."

For iPhone:

1) Open Settings > WeChat

2)Enable the following permissions

Bluetooth

Location

Notifications (Optional, for connection alerts)

5. Unpair and Re-pair the Device
Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, unpair the DBC-II Reel, and then try pairing it again through the WeChat app.

6. Clear Cache and Data
Sometimes, clearing the app cache can resolve functionality issues.

Go to your phone's settings

Find WeChat

Clear its cache and data

7. Update the WeChat App

Make sure you are using the latest version of the WeChat app, as updates often fix bugs and improve compatibility.
